we did. when 800pm strucked we immediately turned all the lights out for an hour. all Jolibee food chains all over the Philippines supported the lights out event to help conserve energy... how about you? have you supported the event? have you helped mother earth?

Everyone in my town switched off their lights and non-essential electrical appliances. The local TV station took some aerial photos of the town in darkness and it really is a breathtaking sight - it's amazing how much of a difference all those lights make. We're still waiting for the latest power reports to be published - it should be astonishing to see how much of a drop we made.

hi, Unfortunately i came to know about it today only. I saw it in this site that it was earth day yesterday. If i remember correctly i was on my laptop only last night that time of the day. So i think i missed a good oppurtunity. Nevertheless iam very happy that people are taking steps for the betterment. Kudos to u for keeping the lights off! Cheers, Tutul

yeah.. i was amazed that my mother managed to participate in this event too and i was glad to became part of it and by conserving energy for an hour yesterday.. you can conserve energy by simply turning off devices that are not being used everyday right? you can do things to help mother earth on your own ways.. there'll always be a next time. take care always!
