when I go to church, I often notice that some youngsters are talking with each other especially during preach and bible reading. and when my mother or someone I know of just happen to go to church while I can't make it to the church I always ask, what's the bible reading and preach is about, they can't answer it. it really concerns me since i go to church for the soul refreshments and i really need those readings and the preach. so what's the use of going to church if we don't even know the meaning of today's theme?now, is it really necessary, those bible readings and preach? do you listen to it? let me know your view. thx..

I always loved to hear the preacher that was what I personally went to church for, but now I do not get out and about very much anymore though.

I raised my kids to listen. Most parents don't. I have seen and talked to my now grown kids about this very same thing. Find someone in your church that does listen, sit by them, and discuss it after. It will help you learn more and remember more of the sermons.
