I dont really know how everyone up here thinks this is OKAY!? My father-in-law favors my stepson. There was a point were our trailer didnt have any heat and all we had was a space heater in my husband and my room. I had my 2 daughters aged 3 1/2 and 2 in our room sleeping and not really being able to leave because it was too cold in the rest of the house. My father in law was willing to take my stepson but not my girls. even my husbands mom says that "well it's because of the situation your step son is in" I said what are you talking about!!? she said "well because billy has full custody of his son and his mother doesnt really pay attention to him everyone will see him a little different!" I was so angry that my husbands side of the family thinks that this is ok!!!! I called my mom up. She told me if she was able she would have taken ALL THREE children, not just one and make the other 2 suffer. I personally dont think that is very fair. Am I being too protective of my own children or is it really right that everyone sees my stepson differently because of his "situation" ??? Do any of you have this problem with your parents favoring a certian child?
