Dark undereyes? I have tried everything to make them go away. Avon, Fade cream and alot of other products I have tried to take care of this and nothing seems to work. If anyone knows of anything that helps this please let me know.

Sometimes, Shaun, darkness under the eyes can be a family trait. We have a tendency towards it among some members in my family, and I don't think anything will make it go away. There are products out ther that claim they will work, but I never found one. Maybe you could talk to your doctor about the problem.

My problem is not only dark undereyes but they are puffy too. I get dark undereyes when I don't get enough sleep and I have never really tried any of those creams as I am always doubtful of their effectivity. These skin care products are mostly lies. I just use the traditional cucumber because it relaxes the eye muscles very quickly with its coolness.

I will have to buy more cucumber and try it. I eat a lot of them with my meals . At the same time I have tried creams and nothing so far has helped.

I've had this problem off and on. A few things can help. One being getting plenty of rest. Stress and lack of sleep can cause them. Also make sure you are getting plenty of water to drink. If you are hydrated they don't appear as often. I also use a generic of Oil of Olay on mine. It does seem to help reduce how dark they are. It doesn't get rid of them completely but it does assist in fading them.

You're welcome. The generic I get is from Dollar General, it's like $1.50 or $2 but I think Wal-Mart has a version as well.

Hi Shaun, I used to have that when I was working..I always sleep late and that is what I have observed but I tried to apply some fresh cucumber during night time and it works as long as you will do it constantly!

i also have dark circles around my eyes. others put some cucumber in their eyes because they believe that it will also help remove or rather reduce their dark circle around their eyes

I do have dark circles underneath my eyes. I have tried everything also. I put concealer under them and cover with foundation. That is my only way of making them look less prominant.

Maybe I should use cucumber more. I have a hard time going to bed early. Of course I am not sure if this is because I go to bed late or if it is a family trait.

I get that a lot sweety, in my case it is usually a lack of sleep and the only thing that helps is more sleep or a lot of eye rest! I don't know of anything else that will really help! xxx

I have never tried to prevent them I just cover them up with under eye concealor. It works very well. I look terrible anymore with the dark circles under my eyes. It makes me look twice my age. I now mine is caused by not getting enough sleep though.
