Have you been convinced to start saving the planet yet??

Me, by nature, i think have always been a little bit of a naturalist. When I found out about recycling as a kid and was ABLE TO DO IT, I just jumped in and have ever since. I read recently how Sweden's recycling program is really so much more advanced than here and was encouraged to recycle even more, when I started to I couldn't believe how all the scraps of paper, plastic packaging, aluminum added up. I saw a little doc about the plastic coming in off the ocean and making its way on small inlands where birds breed and the sight of seeing this bird with this hook from a fruit bad (type for oranges) was heartbreaking for me. This guy had a time yanking it out of this birds beak that I just want to plant that picture on a t-shirt and go picking up trash off the side of the road everywhere in my neighborhood. Was there something that finally changed your mind? Maybe your not recycling but doing small things to contribute, what? Do you think your efforts would be worthwhile, why not?

I am always convinced we can never be too sure about our planet. I hated everyone who dont seem to care about anything at all, those who put trash anywhere they please, those who spit on public places.. i think its more than being gross - its like spreading a disease of some sort - totally unhygienic. I think i have contributed in my own little ways through some small projects our school and organization have come about, these includes tree planting, garbage segragation, and yes, we too have recycling classes and promotes everything that is related to recycling...
