Can you learn english from mylot?

I'm a chines trying to learn english from here too.

Before I ever had to attend school, I was already exposed to english mediums, most of them movies and since its audio visual, I easily learned how to speak or perhaps enunciate english quite well. Here in myLot, I find it nice to practice my english capabilities as well as converse with others. I just don't know about oral since I'm not always sure on how to pronounce words unless I really know them.

I think mylot is a good site to learn english, to understand and to write your ideas, even you're not learn towards perfect english, but you learn how to explain something with your writing. I found also, some members response with bad grammar, i also admit that maybe i post discussion and comments with incorrect grammar... but as long as people understand what i typed and they responsed it enthusiastic so no problem...

If you post discussions earnest ,and read other's answers one word by one word .You can learn many . I find myself have made progress after post many posts. Though there is so many mistake on mylot ,but you can different right and wrong.

It seems to me that, although MyLot is better than nothing, you will learn poor English grammar here because there are many people who don't take the time or have the interest to write carefully formed sentences. However, there are forums where it is much worse.

Hello lily3753, i have learn english very well since i join myLot. My lot friends here teach me good and i have explore lots of things from another country by join in.

i think its a good site which can help you in purpose of learning good english. but for that you must be very much active here at mylot.by taking part actively in starting and answering discussions, you can really gain from it.

Yes, I believe you can learn to improve your English on MyLot! I am hoping to learn more about other languages by the way the natives write their English! It tells me how sentences are formed in their native language. I can help you with any questions about English that you may have!
