Here is the story about Japanese diplomat who studies Indonesian traditional cultural. He studies "wayang" (puppet)for some years during his stay in Indonesia. He is not only good at wayang knowledge,but also he is able to play it well, that is why he is called "dalang" == a man to play the wayang. During his play, he uses Indonesian language, even sometimes he speak Javanesse. I think he is the only Japanese diplomat who has incridible contribution to foster a good relationship not only berween the two guvernments but also between the two peoples.
