Okay, I've got this friend. Or, to be more accurate friends. More than one of them I think. For some reason they like to watch movies they have already seen in the company of other people. They like to do this, I presume, because they all harbor a secret fantasy of being the next Ebert on Ebert & Roper. By the way, who is playing the role of Ebert these days? You settle in to watch a movie with these friends and find out about 10 minutes in--usually just before some pivotal plot moment that kicks the whole thing off--that they have seen it already. You know this because they insist on describing the next scene, like some diabolic Sylvia Browne, moments before it happens. I want to shoot them in the face. With a bazooka. My least favorite technique employed by these people is the snicker. Suddenly, without warning they will snicker like a mustang that hasn't eaten in 14 days. We, being the good friends that we are, ask them what is so funny. "Oh, just watch. You'll see." Well, at least there is one good reason for still going out to the movies. The only people who jip me there are the acne-faced kids selling $10 popcorn. The Spokesman www.freewebs.com/spokesman

I too have experienced this. Some people are really irritating. If my friends try to reveal the plot to me i would just give him a knock on the head and he will be quite. I am also irritated about other people talking during movies. Some people also talk on cell phones. Which spoils the mood of the entire movie.

I'm one of those people who CANNOT watch a movie more than once and enjoy it unless theres been 10 years in between. That story was hilarious though, knowing me, I would probably sneak off to the 'bathroom' and come back find myself another seat only to casually make my way back before the movie ends--they wont find me.

I would hate that. I wouldn't watch movies with these people any more. I love movies and for someone to do that thruough on would drive. Me nuts.

I dont like it either when someone keeps on talking about what will be the next scene or the ending of the movie that we are watching! I usually tell someone to shup up his/her mouth! But there was one time, during our first movie ever in a movie house here in Denmark, where we watched an action-thriller movie. While the movie was running, me and my friend was so terrified that we covered our faces, mumbled to each other and whispered while talking because the scenes didnt get any reaction from the Danes . And that was strange for us, because in our homecountry, people would even scream inside a movie house if the movie they are watching is a horror movie.. I mean, we didnt expect them to scream but we are just hoping for a little reaction from them because it really adds "something" in the atmosphere inside the movie house. And worst of all, a man from our front told us to "shut up!". It seems like I have bitten my tongue because I havent talked nor doesnt wanted to make even a little noise after that guy told us to shut our mouth up! But I was too furious that I wanted to tell him, YOU ARE SOOO COLD and BORING! lol..

I hate when people do that to me, but I know I have done that to people before. I also hate when people talk during a movie that i am trying to watch, although I am guilty as charged on that account as well.
