i was shocked to see that there is a Philippine franchise of the sensational My Girl. i gotta say i like the Korean My Girl, but will Kim Chiu stand up to the fame? will she be able to play the part well enough to rival the Korean My Girl? what do you think?

i'm not a fan of her... i don't know why whenever i see her... she really gets into my nerves.. her acting is so bad... i don't think the role of jasmine will suit her... she looks very young coz the character there is in her mid 20s... i'm not her hater... i just don't like her...

I don't like Kim Chiu, whatever role she's playing, even as herself. She's not an actress (I mean, she can't act). They just use her because she's popular with the masses. Using her for the show My Girl would be a big downgrade for the show. *This is my opinion* I liked that show. I'm annoyed in the first place that they would remake it. Can't they think of their own storylines, that they now have to make a remake of shows that are already popular, in order to assure success? I say, no to pinoy remake of My Girl (and other foreign shows), and no to Kim Chiu (to whatever show she'll have in the future).

I think Kim chui is the best Filipino artist who can do this project. she is bubbly by nature.. maybe not as much as Da Hee.. but i hope she will be able to pull it off well. I am not sure about his partner though.. he still needs more workshops and all... i was curious on who is going to play the part of Junki. he is my favorite character in this series. he he he

I remember the feedbacks about Marian Rivera before she started acting as Marimar. The majority of the general public believes she can't do it well, but look how successful Marimar have been. I believe we have seen Kim Chiu act. She have been through a lot of shows now and I believe she can do it. Well, I guess, she doesn't want to put down the expectations of all the Filipinos, right? I guess she is good in acting, as well as she have improved. Well, I'm hoping that Kim Chiu would put my hopes up.

I love to watch the Philippine version of My Girl. Kim Chiu is doing a great job in portraying her role. She's really funny. I think for me there's no rivalry. Both were fun to watch. Since it has different settings, their different in a way and as if you're watching a different dramas, sort of. Since our culture is different from theirs, the "My Girl" Philippine version is different from that of the Korean version in a sense that the story will be adopting to what we have here like Korea has snow and we only have rain. So I think, Filipinos can relate more to it BUT original is still original.;)
