Birthday cakes...........

Definitely home made, they are by far the best! There is something plain and boring about shop bought ones, as it the same amount of care hasn't gone into them as home made ones. As a child mum always made me a homemade birthday cake and it was wonderful, even for parties the friends who took some home would say how good it was. When mum stop baking and brought home a shop cake, boy you could tell the difference. I am not biased because it's my mum either.
