Last week I started a discussion about my stepson's 17 year old girlfriend staying here after an argument with her siblings... http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1449717.aspx
I figured I'd just let you all know that she went home tonight. It was a mini battle but she went. Her mom wanted her home, I told her I thought that was the best thing too, her mom talked to her, they argued. I talked to her and my stepson, she argued with her mom some more but in the end they went out to the truck and left.
I'm sure she'll be back this weekend and this whole situation will probably come up again but at least it's settled for now. She still doesn't want to go back to her own school but that's her parents'problem not mine!

I am sorry her and her Mom couldn't work things out..Maybe she will contact her friend in the area and she could help them..

I have no idea what's going on. Her mom eventually convinced her to come back home so they left here after work yesterday but then she came back here late last night....
What really has me riled up right now is the fact that she and stepson snuck out of here early this morning, we don't know why or where they went, can't get them on his cell phone and his truck inspection ran out yesterday so they're driving illegally where ever they are.

Oh no..I hope you can reach them soon..Obviously this girl and her Mom needs to work something out, or she won't be going back, at least on her own free will..

You're right, she's not my problem. But this nonsense is definitely causing problems here--see above for what is going on this morning.

That's good that she finally went home. Teenage girls with raging hormones can make things out to be worse than they really are. Believe me I know that from experience. I've had two of them, and they are 18 and 22 and they are still dramatic like this.

She told her mom she wasn't going back to school because another girl spread a rumor about her...she said to her mom on the phone "Mom, if I have to go back to that school I'll just beat the crap out of ____ and get kicked out anyway because I hate her!" Yeah, real mature.
