4 yr old calls 911: Saves Mother

That is great to hear. It is nice to see something GOOD on the news with all of the violence that is plastered all over the news anymore.

I believe I heard something about this... or at least a recent story much like it. It is wonderful that the boy knew to call and could convince the operators to take his call seriously. That, you see, is the iffy part. How does an operator know that this is a real call and not some kid playing with the phone? I wish I had other examples, like this one, to call upon. Back in the recesses of my brain, I believe I've heard stories like this before. I just can draw up examples at the moment. Quickly turning to internet search engines for examples would have been useful except that one of the blurbs mentioned a child calling 911 after their Father tried to murder their mother. I quickly opted to cease reading.
