Can anyone suggest some really good games for the nintendo Wii.. I don't like the sports ones so those are out but I like strategy where you actually have to think so games like that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wow! You make it a little hard, since the whole point of the Wii is to get up and get moving while playing a game. So sports are out, huh? We love playing tennis and bowling. Super Smash Bros. game that is just out has been rated as possibly the best game ever. You battle other characters, I don't think it's a strategy game. That's on our wish list. We have Cooking Mama and it's kind of fun, it's not sports and it's not strategy. There's American Idol Karaoke Revolution, that isn't a sport and you don't really need to think. Same with Guitar Hero and High School Musical Sing It. We have Carnival Games and it's ok, we find it kind of boring because we like the games that make us think things through and the games that you have to move around. We like Lego Star Wars and Mario Super Galaxy. Both are strategy games though. I don't know if you have a Blockbuster nearby, but they rent Wii games so you can try out a few to find what you like. Good luck!

I actually just got Mario Super Galaxy and love that game. It's so much fun, that's definately the kind of game that I like. I like the actual Wii Sports game that comes with the Wii but I don't like the sports games that are sold separately because I'm not a big sports person in general. I'll have to look into Super Smash Bros. We have a blockbuster but find that they charge extreme prices for the games that they rent so once we get a little more cash saved up, we're going to invest in getting Gamefly which we had before. I like that service so much more. I would like to try the American Idol Karoke but I think it's fairly expensive to purchase. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Our Blockbuster rarely has the Wii games in...thanks for the recommendation about Gamefly. I've always wanted to try it but never knew anyone who did. Now I know it's worth checking into! Thanks again!

No problem. We had it for about three months and never got one game that was scratched or unplayable. It was great and MUCH cheaper than renting with blockbuster. They also get all the new games as they come out. Some of them you may have to wait for because they don't have very high availability but I just put those ones at the top of my list and they would send them as soon as they were available, in the mean time sending another selection of mine that was available. It's a lot like Netflix if you've ever tried that. The best part is the we have more than one game system and they have games for all three playstations, all xboxs, gamecube.. any system you can think of with the exception of maybe the original nintendo and such. They even have games for gameboy which suprised me.
