Can you beleive that this would actually happen. People complained about this guy b/c he was sweating to much and they didnt like his odor so he was kicked out of the gym and cant come back. How stupid what are gyms for. Here is the link http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-news/local-news/2008/03/31/barred-from-gym-for-sweating-too-much-100252-20696299/

he wasnt banned from sweating too much.. he was kicked out for smelling badly and it was affecting others enjoyment of the gym. if the man doesnt wish to be "humiliated" then he should tend to his body odor, or get equipment to use at home so he isnt making others gag being around him. ;shrugs;

you dont stink just from sweating.. you stink if you sweat, and then marinade in it wthout washing yerself. i work out alot, i sweat alot, i also shower alot. considering this guys job is to teach cleanliness and decent proper hygiene.. and he hasnt a clue himself on it, maybe he ought start looking for different work!

Hi libertarianfreedom21, In my opinion it is not the gym owners who are stupid but it is the other people in the gym.Gym owners are scumbbed to the pressure of others.It is too bad on the part of the others. Good Luck.

My understanding is this is the purpose of a gym is to work out and sweat...go figure. Thankfully he found a new gym. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Owner Bill Martin said: “We did everything humanly possible to avoid humiliating him. LOL. This is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. I mean come on. What are these people thinking. You go to a gym to work out and of course he's going to sweat if he's exercising two hours. Are you kidding me? You should see how much I sweat after an hour and I don't hear my mom complaining or anything like that. Those people need a serious reality check.

ok odor I can understand but sweating is alittle weird. I would be put off if I had to be near someone who stunk but also I would feel bad if they got kicked out because of it!

I think it was the mixture of odor and sweat, but the weird thing is the guys a psychiatrist for cleanliness and hygine. I think that he took a shower before working out but still got all stinky. I think that people working out are going to stink and that the other people should of just left him alone.

I do agree with you but why should everyone else have to suffer just because he stinks?

That is very bad, why not calling the attention first and give another chance! If after the given chance, still hia odor will still annoy or bother other customers thats the time he will be asked to stop going there! That is also very disappointing to the man, we all have feelings and hurting someone is very bad!
