3rd grade kids caught plotting to do something to there teacher

these kids even went as far as bringing tape and knifes and stuff to school to do the job, I just wonder what happened to them to do this, and why they even tried to do it. Maybe the teacher was mean and all of them got together to learn how to elimanate her. I dont know they were only 8 or 9 imagine my step-kid is nine and i cant see him even thinking of something like that. where these kids raised wrong or what. heres the link

there is nothing wrong how they were raised . the media and the environ ment is to blame but the parents should be there to guide them. look at the media access that this kids are having, the internet, tv, movies, dvd's, mtv. commercialism came to a point to tap the basic human nature which is curiosity . it attracts our animal instinct to watch and believe that it is the way of the world to resolve issues. we need to be careful with what we feed our kids.

I serously doubt that tv is to blame, if it was we would have all kids doing these things. I watched many movies, been on the internet with lots of differant stuff, played video games with gore in them, and i have never ever thought or done anything remotely close to this. I am actually quite tired of people trying to pin it on the TV and media, its the parents that dont tell there kids how life is supposed to be lived. My step son is 9 years old and we let him watch rated R movies and stuff, he is a very good kid that doesnt do stuff like this, so never again do i want someone blaming it on tv and media.

Its very disturbing and it is a question of whether their is trouble at home or maybe some of these kids were born bad. Whats even scarier is the fact that if they are plotting to harm someone now think of them in the future. They may take a life. Whoever these kids are they need professional help and if the teacher is mean then she needs to be reported too. Either way kids shouldn't be plotting to hurt someone.

I agree, there has to be something in the bigger picture that would make them do this and that something needs to be fixed whatever it is. they do need some counseling (professional not a school counseler) and more than just suspionsion.
