I had a hard time thinking of something to do for my sons first birthday. We live in a second floor apartment and I really don't have alot of room to fit everyone in here. There is going to be about 19 people,he has alot of younger cousins and the people add up quick.I don't mind spending some money but I don't want to spend alot of money. The weather here is never consistent so I can't really plan anything outside. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks

I don't do anything to extravogant as this is their first birthday, but i make two cakes for them because one i just let them dig into with their hands. I love getting pictures of that and love the way they enjoy getting so messy. LOL! All we really do is have a party either at our house or my parents house and the go from there. God bless

for my daughters first birthday I rented a pavillion at a park. That way all of the kids could run around and play and their was less mess to clean up.

My nephew is going to have her first birthday this month! We plan to hold a party at home, but not a big one, just the most closely relatives, and then we will go to do something for the charity. My sister believe although she is too young to understand what she is doing now,she could know that when she grow up.and that's the most valuable for her all life!

Could you ask a friend/family member if you could use their house for the party? It could be like their gift to him (hey he's 1 he won't remember). I'm sure someone would be happy to open up their home? Hope the party is fun!
