Does any one know real, logical reasons that stadiums and arenas are built in certain cities and not others?
Meaning, why are there stadiums in some cities, but not in others that are just as big, or just as wealthy???
If you know, I would love some kind of paper/article/book that backs up your reasons. I have to write a paper, and I have no idea on how to get this information, or where to even begin to look.
Thank you in advance for any help!

well nice article
all i can write my assummption and cant be supported by paper/book
Well when society getting civilize and they found different recreation and want to enjou them so they atarted to bulis Areana/Theatre/Amphitheatre so all people can get togather to enjoy it
if u look at greek and Roman History u can find them, and in room the amphitheatre were too big and planned that u cant imagine as how they did that?
and why they were built in big cities, in early days population was not that much and these things were only built in area which were capital of state as KING of that time lived there and enjoyed such events. at some events that fucntions carru on for Months and people all over the country go there to see. participare and Enjoy
Now a days same rules apply, its weath as well as population of that area
Take care

I can't help with an answer but I have often wondered about this myself. Also why some cities have baseball, football, hockey and basketball etc. and not all of them or at least each state? I will be curious to see someone give an answer. Great discussion, Brightest Blessings, Mari
