Is Mothers' Day Importance?

Mothers' is coming next month. I would like to know whether this celebration is purely commercial? I mean that traders seize the opportunity to make maximum sales. Moreover, I would like to know why we need to keep a day for our mothers. We can offer as many gifts as we want throughout the year, Ehy simply on mothers' day?

Yes for me it is important to have a mother day and treat them really special on their day.. i am a mother too and i want my kids to greet me as well.

Then you'll be surprised that I celebrate mother's day every day. So I greet my mom everyday. My mom does not has a special day, but all days are important. I can offer her gifts on any occasion and not necessarily on mothers day.

I think you are right! We can buy moms gifts anyday I want,no need to wait for the Mothers'Day! For me,I think my mom's birthday is much more important than the Mother's Day.So,we celebrate birthday every year!
