Hana Kimi Japan or Hana Kimi Taiwan?

As most of us know, there are two live action adaptations to the Japanese manga, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, or Hana Kimi. There's the Taiwan version which came out 2006 starring Ella Chen, Wu Zhun, and Jiro Wang. And there's the Japanese version which came out 2007 starring Horikita Maki, Shun Oguri, and Ikuta Toma. Which version do you like better and why? I'll start and I'd have to say that I like Hana Kimi Japan better. The Japanese version, at least for me, was funnier than the Taiwanese version. Also, I liked how the Japanese version centered on friendship and less on the romance. There was still a bit of romance but it was more on Ashiya and Nakatsu and not Ashiya and Sano. I'm not saying I didn't like the Taiwanese version. In fact, I liked it for the Sano/Quan and Ashiya/Rui Xi moments. But I liked the Japanese Hana Kimi version better. How about you guys?
