Recycled crochet plastic bag - Crochet together your old carrier bags!

Got drawers full of plastic grocery bags? Why not craft your own reusable bag out of them by crocheting them together? http://www.marloscrochetcorner.com/Plastic%20Bag%20tote.html It's actually a really cute and attractive little bag. I think you could make them for family and friends and they'd be really impressed. What do you think?

Wow, that looks pretty amazing! Must take hours and hours to make though, and i don't think i'd have the patience. I've never been one to cross stitch or knit and such like. I've seen bags made of recycled plastic bags before but not from crocheting them, the sort i've seen are kind like furry bags if that makes sense? (obviously made by machine and not by hand!).

Good to see you around again! Seems like you haven't been around in a while! I've just moved house myself so I've been absent. With me it's not a lack of patience that stops me from doing things, it's a lack of confidence. If a project looks difficult then I assume I won't be able to do it. I really should try and get over that hurdle. It's silly really isn't it?

Wow, that is so cool. I would love to make something like this but I don't know how to crochet and a person would have to know how to be able to make them. I wonder if I knitted them if it would work, probably not. But maybe I should give it a try.

I hope you do give it a try and if you do, let us all know how it works out!

That is so cool. I've also seen rugs made that way. They are easy to wash and work great for places in the kitchen. DCMerkle

Rugs?! That's a really interesting idea too! With a bit of creativity there's all sorts of interesting projects out there!
