what is a cats fascination with toilet paper?

Ok so I had taken my daughter to her uncles house the other day.He has a cat in his house. I went to use the bathroom at one point, and there was an entire roll of tp strewn about the bathroom floor and into the hallway. The cat had gone haywire.Leaving very little in the way of useable Has your cat done this? This cat has balls and string and other kitty toys Why the tp?

Twice one of my cats has played with the TP. I don't know why. Call it boredom I guess. And, on those two occasions, it wasn't as bad as videos on the internet that I have seen of cats actually being caught playing with the TP. It was just about a foot and a half of the roll that was rolled to the floor and there were telltale signs of little nails that tore through it a bit. It was actually humorous. Especially since it was such a little bit. It was like...oh! Check that out! That looks like it could be fun. Pull, pull...ok! I'm done! LOL!

i had a cat that would try to get it because it hung down and would move. she would watch it and then jump to get it. she never made that much of a mess though.

I think that's very comman.Many of the cats like to find something to plry as there was nothing they can do now.I think there is no use of them except as a pet.
