How interested are you in them? I like to think that I know a bit about everyday things to talk about. Most of my femail friends dont want to talk about things like that. If its not shoping or gossip they dont know what to say. Me and husband often discuss this things at home? Do you? Do you argue?

I am very interested in politics and current affairs. But like you said, I have only a couple of female friends who are interested in either. I think that is just sad. There are actually more women who vote, and yet you can hardly find a woman who knows anything about politics!
I don't see how anyone could not be interested in politics. I mean, do they just not care how their country is run? Amazing!

I dont get it as well they keep going on how things are bad but if you ask them why things are bad how they want them to be or things like that they have no idea.

At home, they are not interested in politics because they do not like how the government is being run here in our country. I am interested in talking politics but I only have the chance to air my opinions when I am at forums that discusses politics or at debates that tackle political issues.

I have the news on every weekday morning and we watch a little at night sometimes. Most of my news comes from the internet, and only if it catches my interest with it's headline. As far as politics I really hate them. I hate how much time media spends on it. And it's not like it's INFORMATIVE time. If they gave us real details about what the candidates think on issues and what things they have already done and skipped the rest, I wouldn't mind so much.
My hubby and I discuss it from time to time, but it's more just comments on news stories, then any real discussion. We probably discuss our Pirates game more than any news or politics

But at least you know what people are talking about those things and you have an opinion. My friends probably dont even know who the prime minister of Australia is.
