Hi dear coly, the chinese food in my place is a bit different to that in china no matter in the choice of ingredients and also the way of cooking. To me both of them are really delicious. I liked the simple dishes of fried chinese cabbage, dabaicai and fried tomato with stirred egg very much during my vacation in china. Eating with chopsticks is handy and convenient especially when eating noodles.

I love Chinese food here, but I wonder if the food we get in the restaurants and buffets here is even close to what you cook or can find in your restaurants? I like dumplings, egg rolls, moo shu, won ton and egg flower soups. What is your favorite food at home or in a restaurant. I do use chopsticks occasionally, but only with food I can pick up well - I do it for fun with my son.

Hi dear coly, as I am a Chinese from Malaysia, of course I like Chinese food very much. Though the Chinese food available here is a bit different from that in your country, it is still very delicious. I had been to different places of China and I found that the style of cooking for a same dish was quite different in different places. Some simple local country dish could taste really yummy as well. It was really interesting to find that the Cantonise dishes in Guangzhou were very similar to those in my country and I liked them very much.

I love Chinese food and my granddaughter and I used to go to Chinese buffet all the time. She would make sure that we had chopsticks to eat our food with, which made it a fun time for us and the other patrons would sometimes look at us and comment since most people there did not and she is only 12 and has been eating with them for several years. Until she was 12 she got to pay a cheaper price to eat there but she looks older and I had to remind them every time that she was not yet 12 years old. It was like a game we played when we went there. Then the restaurant closed and we haven't been to another. It did reopen under new management, but she never went there with me, but they also closed!!! Now we will need to find a new place to go since we both like Chinese food and I don't want us to lose our ability to use chopsticks!!

Definitely! I love chinese food but don't get it all that often. When we do though, I do enjoy eating it with chopsticks. I also like eating my ramen noodles with chopsticks - so does my 10 year old daughter.

I enjoy Chinese food, and it's fairly simple to cook. I don't tend to use chopsticks at home though (laziness more than anything). I like the Chinese buffet restaurants where you have a choice of lots and lots of different dishes.

Of course coly, I like all delicious Chinese food. There are so many variety yummy foods available in the modern city of Shanghai. I love to spend my vacation in this big city. It is a fascinating city with beautiful lights turned on all the night. It was lots fun and joy to hang around the chenghuangmiao food street in shanghai. Other than the delicious dishes and desserts in attractive arrangement when served in the restaurants there were still tons of tasty foods available at the stalls on either side along the streets. Of course, I bought a lot of these delicious and nice packed foods home to share with my friends. Yeah, I like using chopsticks when eating. There are so handy and convenient especially when eating noodle. I had seen some beautiful and well designed china chopstick-rest when eating in certain restaurant in China. Here in the restaurants in my country we could hardly see any chopstick-rest on the dinner table. BTW thanks a lot for selecting mine as the best response. Wish you all the best and Happy Spring Festival!
