It could be harder to obtain a job if you're pregn - Pregnant ladies might not get hired because the person hiring knows that they won't be there longterm.
Of curse pregnant women should get a job, but I'm wondering if the owner would avoid hiring pregnant ladies knowing that they won't be there for very long?

If you are pregnant then it is very hard nowadays in america to get any job period. If you already had it then you could work until you couldn't work anymore and take the time off and go back after the baby. To pick up a new job while pregnant is hard though.

Sure! I've hired pregnant women, the only thing that I asked was that they be really honest with me about how long they planned on staying out after they had the baby.

alot of people don't like to hire pregnant women because they know that they will have to give them maternity league.

Pregnant people can get jobs to make more money but I would not recomment it. I am pregnant and if you are not used to the activity (like standing on your feet for 6-8 hours) you will be hurting so bad. Trust me! It is the worst in the first and third trimester.

Of course, just agree a fixed contract with your boss so you both know when you expect to leave

Mrs. Frizzle is right, but only if you're in the U.S.A. Other countries may not have the same laws.
