How long have you had a computer?

I have owned my computer for 3 years,from 2005 to2008.When I was a freshman of university,my dear aunt supported me to contact the computer and I bought one with the money she gave me.The computer had brought many changes for my life.Before I bought the computer,I have known something about internet in the electronic reading room of our school.

seems similar to my discussions posted awhile ago. anyway, i can't stay long infront of my computer because because it will irritate my eyes...i tried to stay more than 3 hours without interruption but above that i can't...this could be harmful to my eyes so i take a nap and back later.

Hello, Coolcarsinc! I believe that when I was around 9 years old I had my first computer. I used it a lot, every single day, and used to spend hours on it, even without being able to connect on the Internet. The Interned was dial-up on that time, and my mother didn't allow us to use it everyday, only 5 minutes on the weekend. As we grew older (me and my brother), the computer changed one more time, but the Internet kept as a dial-up connection. However, we got the right to use it more on the weekends, but in the week days we still were not able to use (maximum of five minutes). Two years ago, if I am not mistaken, my mother hired another service for the Internet, which now allow us to use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I believe most of the people who play online games or use the Internet too much have this kind of Service installed on their houses aswell. And my computer is also a new one. I believe I have changed my computer around 4 times. Respectfully.

I think i have my computer for almost 7 years, that was way back 2001 because of my course computer science. I only use it for typing purpose and some gaming. I started to use internet at home year 2005. I used free internet at the school year 2001 and if i need more time do some rent outside. I started to pay Php60 per hour or $1.50(40). Now on my business only Php15 per hour or $.375(40). Big difference.
