My 14 month old daughter has been showing an interest in potty training, so she has been wearing pull ups during the day. And doing awesome! She used the potty before we left the house and 3 1/2 hours later when we got back home she was still dry. She used the potty when we got home and is now taking a nap. I asked her if she needed to go while we were out and she told me no. She is doing awesome. I am so proud of her. She was into it a few months back for about a week, but lost interest. Hopefully she will keep it up this time. Any potty training tips that you would like to share?

All I know to say is "That is awesome", especially for a 14 month old. Most people are just starting to teach their children to communicate. You're way ahead of the game. Congrats!

The first day we started it last week she went potty 9 times in 24 hours. She gets excited about it. It is great.

That is awesome! Just find some way to reward her often. Whether it be with small inexpensive toys, books or even a sweet now and then. That will help keep her interested.

She loves books! My sister in law said something about getting out her daughters old potty training books for her. I will have to ask her about those.

Congrats! The first thing I would do is take he rout of the pull ups unless you know you are going to be away from home for a long time. Something that helped my son was making sure ever 1 hour or so we either asked or brought him to the bathroom as a reminder.

I was looking at little girl underwear a few days ago, but I didn't get them. I though maybe I was getting ahead of myself there. She is only 14 month old afterall.

CONGRATS!! Thats awesome. I dont have to much advice other than maybe reward her for going. Get a small sticker chart and everytime she goes she gets a sticker. If she goes say 20 times she gets a small toy. Maybe that will keep her interested in it longer. And she will learn to count to 20 in the process. ~May The Kisses Of An Angel Cover And Protect You Always!~ Copper

I was not sure if she was too young for a sticker chart or not. I guess it would not hurt to give it a try huh?

OMG, well done both of you, you are doing great job, congratulations. I have 19 month old boy and he is hiding in the corners when he is doing it and then pointing at his nappy when he has done it. So he knows what is happening and i though he is ready. I bought him potty recently to start potty training, but he doesnt want to sit on it really. He can last there for one or two minute but thats it, so i guess i have to wait for it. good luck and keep on going.
