What types of carnivorous plants do you prefer?

What types of carnivorous plants do you prefer? Do you prefer the singing plants, or the non-singing plants? While I do prefer the non-singing plants, I do appreciate carnivorous plants with sentience, so that although they might sing they won't do so at inopportune times, and preferably not be so outright crude. Also, do you prefer your carnivorous plants to devour your victims whole or in pieces? I prefer whole, because then you don't have to do all the work yourself and there's relatively little clean up! Plus, if it accidentally eats a victim you hadn't finished with, they might still be alright for a moment.
