Work to live or live to work?

I am confused these days.What is the purpose for us to come to work? My own answer of course is that I should earn my livings by work in the city.Thus,I work only to ensure my existence in the earth for my food and my clothes.It sounds really discouraging to me.That means I am forced to work otherwise I could not enjoy my life. Terrible! But some others told me they were born for work.Without work,life means nothing at all.Work to them is like water to human beings.They work not for money but an enjoyment. Oh,do you work to live or live to work?

I work to live and I suppose im lucky I work from home and I enjoy what I do because Im good at it lol But going out 9-5 travelling into the city with all the rest no thank you - not for me!

Every parts our body needed exercises, why not work and get paid. Work with others to build relationship as well to get enjoyment and satisfaction. Our existence is a blessing to others may it that we work to live or live to work.

Hey, first thing i also work for my living, to live life with some status and reputaion. Now i have many people they work to do time pass, they have lots of money. or other source to get money. so i work to live. And when iam not feeling wel, when iam ill, that time i gather myself to go to the work, i cant afford one day leave. It may because i am in a responsible job where 40 people are under me, that time i feel that iam living for work.
