One bathroom in the house...

HYPOTHETICALLY: If you woke in the morning and has to urinate very badly, but only had one bathroom in the house and waited already five or ten minutes and they were still occupying the bathroom (perhaps taking a shower), what would you do?
Would you:
A: knock on the door and tell them you REALLY had to use the bathroom, and give them a few minutes to come out
B: go pee outside, in a sink or in a cup or something -- anything just to relieve yourself!
C: pee yourself
D: something else ________ (write your own answer)
I personally try to hold it as long as possible, even though this is not good for you... If I really had to go I suppose I could use a cup?

I would knock on the door of the bathroom, tell the person taking a shower to hide behind the shower curtain depending on who it was, and pee. When you gotta go, you gotta go, especially in the AM.

tell them to get out I h ave to use the bathroom and I can't wait and I have always only had one bathroom in the house, if they are in the shower I tell sorry I am coming in.

We also have 1 bathroom here and it happens to me several times..Its not goog to hold it and wait..I always knock the door and ask my hubby that I need to pee!!

it has happened to me a lot of times since our house has only 1 bathroom. i usually yell at the person inside and force her/him to go out for awhile so i could pee. if it doesn't work i could always go outside. a cup is not an option unless it's not our house. pee in the sink? ewww.

LOL -- but if you really have to go, you gotta go! I am not saying to keep the cup and drink out of it afterwards, there is always the option of throwing it away! Just seeing what other people would do in this type of situation.

i usually knock on the door but if i can't really helped it, i use to do swing my legs so that i won't pee on my shorts

I would rather prefer to knock at the door and ask the other person for help to come out for 2-5 minutes and it would be better for me because holding it for long time is not good for us.

This has happened to me in the past and I simply went next door, knocked and explained my situation. They were more than happy to let me use their toilet!
If I didn'thave neighbours or i didn't like them or something I guess I'd nock and ask how long they were going to be and wait but if worse came to worst I guess I'd pee in the laundry sink. When you gotta go you gotta go.

I have had this happen. Thankfully not a lot but when it does I knock and let them know to keep the shower curtain closed because I need to use the toilet badly. It has never created a problem.

During college I shared a house with 5 women and only one bathroom ... there was an "open-door" policy ... a typical morning meant I took my morning constitutional with one of them in the shower, two sharing the sink and mirror, and the other two queued-up for an open spot!
