Inspiration to start discussions on mylot

I tried to start new discussions but failed. I think my inspirations has disappeared already.No good topics can arise other's interest.
Yes, it is not advisable to write things when you are not sure it will enjoy excellent popularity.
Of course, I will not resort to wines or cigaretts to stimulate my inspirations for writing.The earnings is not so important as my pursuit is to exchange my thought with you friends of different cultures in here.

I must admit that Ive also failed in managing to get good responses to discussions Ive started which can be quite disheartening, maybe im doing something wrong, but I will endeavour to get it right. Ive only been on mylot for 2 months so is early days. I do respond to smoking discussions cos it get my goat the hollier than tho attitude. Anyway enjoy mylot, I do :)

That' right.
As far as I am concerned, there are two main reasons for people being active in mylot.One is profit-driven.Actually,earning free dollars is much attactive,thus people are rather impatient to wait that day.The other is for self-interest.One loves this community so much that he is willing to devote his time on here,regardless how much he could earn or how many responses his discussions will arise.
Neither is wrong.I admit my initiative in mylot was for dollars even I don't know how I can do with the dollars I earn.I really ashame of that thought.Being not a english native speaker,I find it is not easy to bridge the culture gaps,for one person's meat may be another's poison.I need further learn not english but communition skills.It is right to realize one's weaknesses after encountering some discouraging things.
I would like share two proverbs with you all:
It is never too old to learn./ It goes to show.

I think you are feeling something that i also felt long ago. I used to see what ever i start i never get many responses. it may have also made your motivation level low. I have seen few here who atleast get few hundreds for whatever they start as discussion here.
