i've never experienced it, it must be embarrassed that there are three persons respond when a name was called. i like my Chinese name very much. It is unique. There is a "Yu" in my chinese name, it means "jade" in English, i like jade, especially uncut jade.

It doesn't bother me if someone has the same name as me, but what did bother me is that my ex's neice named her daughter the same exact name as my daughter. I thought she could have been a bit more original than that.

no it does not bother me if i got a same name in the office or anywhere, since name is so common i can't really blame if i got same name to workplace. I think there is no reason for you to be inferior or superior because its just a name, i guess for its not a big deal... :-)

When I in the university, there are three persons have the same name as mine. I'm a boy, but the other three persons are all girls. That's so interesting, because my name is hearded like a girl's name, so the three other persons are girls. I don't think it's a big trouble, and on the contrary, I think it so interesting, I like my name.

same thing has happened with me...but i had a very minor difference in my name which cannot be confused with the other two persons but still had faced a confusion...my name is Preetha and other two girls were Preethi..certain faculties would end up calling me Preethi and i get really annoyed because of it..i think there is nothing to feel inferior or superior by name...i think every person is to be called properly by his/her name cause its the source of a persons identity..

hahaha, that reminds me on my high school days where i have 2 classmates who have the same name, middle initial as well as the last name (how strange is that? LOL) so to us it is confusing specially if the teacher is calling one. we have to make sure that the teacher remembers that there is two of them so we end up giving them a code name (tall and short) so i guess whoever falls to the "short" feels inferior and i remember him complaining about it, haha! i guess it will be very confusing to work with people who have same name, i use to work as well with people who have names a like and it sure confuses me. i am lucky that my name is very unique and i am very sure that no one in this world have such name YET (except of course once somebody finds out and would want to name their kid after me) on the contrary, the fall down of it is that i usually ends up being on the MEN's name, grrrrrrrr. i hate it when it happens, haha! cute topic though! takecare!

It used to bother me when i was young. I was always angry when the other Arjun does something bad and the teacher scolds taking only the first name. It is really embaressing sometimes. Imagine a guy having the name Osama. How would he feel!!

It doesn't bother me not unless their going to use it as a joke and laugh at us During my Elementary school days. There are only two of us who have the same name. There going to call it through my direction and when i decided to turn into them, there going to look to the other with my name too and said, oh i'm sorry it wasn't you that i am calling but her. It is not happen once but so many times, there i decided not to look even how many times they call me. It doesn't bother if my teacher will say the name because while calling they will look at the direction they want to answer.

hmmmmm.....i think it's just OK..!! co'z it just merely a name..but in the same time its not OK!! co'z your name is worthy to be recognize as who you are...but the only thing is..just be yourself..and have your own guts to show and don't be like as COPY CUT..so that you're name may be the same but you are different for who you are to others..
