What do the stars in mylot mean?

well,you can consider it as the quality of your discussion and reply.When someone rates you or when some one selects yours as the best response,I think mylot reputation will change........but not at once..........it needs several ratings to increase one point.............and these stars are given only to those whose number of posts is above 100..............as you can well see ,I have just crossed 100 posts.........but ,I have only a reputation of 54/100 .......I hope atleast it increases in the future...........you have a reputation of 74/100............as far I saw the best I saw was 99/100...............Hope you too well get that magical figure soon............ colours are dependent on stars. there are various colour for various stars. Now he star depends on Mylot reputation. the reputation is calcutaed by how you are rated by other mylotters.

But I still not got to 100 post so I have no star at this moment, I hope I can have ranking#8. Cheers.

ahm, its your reputation on mylot, on how others rate your or how popular are you on a certain topic. its easy to acquire stars if you have posts in every topic in any specific categorize. its funny because i dont really know where i got my star, i post wherever i like and i dont usually stick with one categorize alone. lol

It shows you their mylot reputation, if you scroll your mouse pointer over it and keep it there, a little thing pops ups and tells you their reputation out of 100. Therefore the colours and number are like ranking numbers!! Try it with yours!!

Hit the star by your name with your mouse and it will give you your rating how many out of a hundred gave you a positive ratings the colors are for different ratings .I have a red star and my rating is 94 out of 100 rated me positively.
