price increase of rice it is tolerable?

TO ALL FILIPINOS OUT THERE DID YOU NOTICED WHY THE PRICE OF RICE GO UP THAT I THINK IT IS NOT TOLERABLE. WHO ARE THE RESPONSIBLE OF THIS? DID ANYBODY MONOPOLIZE OUR ECONOMY? I have heard there is a big shortage of rice. What I was suprised to know is that rice is more expensive over there than in the US. Weird.... Thanks Zelo

i am sure the government is doing something about the problem because in the first place, they created the problem. i think it is their way to keep people away from thinking about corruption. they divert filipino's attention to other problrms for us not to think about corruption. they created ther issue. there is a shortage yes. but they have todo something now before anything gets worse.

I think Ethel is right. Our government might want to divert our attention from the very controversial ZTE broad band deal. Anyway, i think it goes with the increase of the price of other basic commodities, when all other merchandise are increasing including gasoline, it is very possible that the price of rice will also increase. one solution? increase the minimum wage...
