The Notebook Movie w/my BF

So the Notebook is one of my all time favorite movies. My boyfriend agreed to watch it with me. He LOVED it. I was shocked. The Notebook is definitely a chick flick. But he loved it. We also watched When a Man Loves a Woman and he liked that also, we got into a good conversation about that one! I'll make a new post about that.

Yes, I watched The Notebook and LOVED it! I know people say it's "sappy" and it's definitely a chick flick... but I loved the storyline. I hadn't read the book when I saw the film... and that might have impacted on my impression. Many people I know that had read the book first did not like the way it was interpreted. My favorite scene was probably also the one that made me cry... I don't want to spoil it for anyone that might still want to see the movie but it's the time when she is having her moment of clarity and understands who the story is about... and then she "leaves" again...oh my gosh... so sad :(

That was very sad. I can't get enough of the movie! My favorite scene is when she comes back into his life and they're out on the lake and it starts to rain - how he grabs her and kisses her....Romantic!
I think I'm watching it again this weekend!

The notebook will become a classic Romantic Movie in my opinion. It's rated *.0 on imdb and my score will be 9.5 or more. It is a painful to watch to but every good romantic movie I guess it should have a piece of sadness in it.
Anyway, I loved it and I'm a guy to.

Yes I watched and I loved it. It is one of my favorite movies. I do have to tell you though don't watch it around your period. I did once and I was crying and crying almost throughout the whole movie. Your already emotional around that time of the month, I don't know what I was thinking. It really is a great movie. I think that if guys would actually watch it some would like it but not all. That is great that you two watched it together. It's awesome.

I love the Notebook, such a great movie. My favourite scene is when Allie remembers Noah and they start hugging and then she forgets who he is. To see the pain on his face when he breaks down is heart wenching! The ending, from that scene on is the best. I watched it on my movie channels just the ending 5 times after watching it 2 full times, lol. And I bawled everytime! I've only met one guy who has watched it and he didn't like it. I can't get my hubby to watch it. I can't believe your BF liked it. Will he admit that to other guys? lol. Thats cool though!
