need some ideas for school project.

my son gets a project that is due each month. last month it was a kite that we had to do. this month it an umbrella. all it is is a piece of paper with an umbrella on it and we have to see how creative we can be with our decorations this month. it is due the 11th of this month. last month we used pony beads and made a buny face in the middle with all different bright colors around it and yesterday he came home and said they wouldn't let him bring it home cuz they wanted it for the school fair this weekend. so any ideas for an umbrella?

Wow~ looks like your last months idea was a hit!
I was going to suggest making a rainbow on the umbrella using either beads or you know those foam stickers that they have, maybe doing something to decorate it with them.
Or maybe you can somehow decorate it with something that looks like raindrops?

I bet hes proud his kite will be in the fair! Good for him!
As far as an umbrella goes all I think is its raining cats and dogs. Maybe draw, paint cats and dogs and glitter them. You could use beads for eyes. Or you could use pipe cleaners to make the outline of the cats and dogs and put beads in the middle, or use feathers for fur. Just a thought.

he very proud of himself,we are going to the fair today so i can't wait to see he has a couple things there that i haven't seen yet.
i like the idea of cats and dogs. i want to go to a.c. moores and see what they have so i might beable to find some cat cats and dogs he can add to it. why i didn't think of cats and dogs i have no idea.

i think i know what you mean,walmart normally sells them by the bucket. the boys had the sponge bob ones at one point. they loved them. i am gonna have to see if i can't find some cuz he would love to do that and it would be so easy for them to do.

Maybe you can find the foam cut outs of cats and dogs~ do you know the ones I mean. All you have to do is peel the backs off and they stick on?

how about making a dog and cat to put on top of it, underneath put the expression, it is raining cats and dogs.

Put it upside down, apply something blue under it to simulate water, place a cut-out rubber ducky in it. Add other embellishments to decorate. :) Is that what you mean?
