Are you weighing more than once a week, because it fluctuates during the week, and by the end of the week it has steadied out? Another reason might be your menstrual cycle, as you bloat out with fluid and gain a couple of pounds before it appears, but after it's ended, the weight has gone again. It's pretty difficult for a woman dieting because you have to take all these things into account. Might I ask if when you weigh, do you always wear the same thing? That could also make a difference. Brightest Blessings and good luck with your diet.

I agree, you should only weigh yourself once a week. Water weight, clothing, even ime of day can all contribute to an up and down scale. Pick one night a week before bed or one morning as soon as you wake up to track your weight loss more accurately and if you did it without clothes on it would be even more accurate.

Even when you finish your menstrual cycle, you still have the monthly symptoms. I usually put on between three and four pounds, and mine finished quite a few years ago.

I've stopped with the "diet" mentality. Therefore I am actually eating less due to emotion and thinking less about food. I still have to plan out what I eat or else I'll go over with my calorie intake but I don't dwell on it. I eat lunch or a snack and subtract whatever it is from my daily intake allowance and I am losing weight as a result. I am not on any "diet" either, I eat carbs and whatever I want but its portion control that is the key. As much of a pain this is, if you log in what you eat you may find out why, also make sure you are not consuming TOO much sodium as that can cause weight gain too...oh and be sure to drink more water and try not to stress over it.. good luck!
