I am not a fan of the author nor i read love story novels but i do watch romantic movies and i am particular in looking for this movie entitled " the promise" based on the novel by danielle steel. It is an old movie in the seventies or eighties and i want to watch it again. so, do any one of you have any idea how i can get hold of it? i have asked and search in the net but to no avail that is why i thought of a long shot question here on mylot.thanks.

I think i saw that in one of the Bookstore here in the Phils. I find it and i let you know. Is the story good? My favourite writer is Danielle Steel.

It is very hard to find old movies on the internet... unless there were big blockbuster in their time.
Your best bet is your DVD store... but not everything has been transferred onto DVD yet either.
You could try Ebay.
If you are a member... you can put it on your "wanted" list so that everyone know that you are looking for it.
