I never had met anyone who is crazy, insane, or even psychotic. Well not that I know of any ways. Have you? How did you deal with it or how did others deal with it?

i have met lots of crazy people...i actually dated a schizophrenic for about 8 months when i was in high school...that wasn't meant to be though, it was too hard for me to deal with someone who was delusional all the time... now i just have my crazy mother in law, which isn't so bad i guess...she has her moments, most times i want to to strangle her but i try very hard to be compassionate and forgiving and nonjudgemental.

I mean someone who is mentally ill, or a psychopath.

The craziest person I've ever encountered was a girl back when I was 12 years old and attending a 2-month sleepaway summer camp. We stayed in cabins of about 6 girls each. She was mostly normal but had something of a psychotic episode one day. I was reading on my bunk (top one), no one else was in the cabin. All of a sudden she came tearing into the cabin screaming and yelling. She clambered up MY bunk of all bunks and scrambled onto a beam. There she perched, only a few feet from my stunned body, still screaming and yelling. Don't remember her exact words, or even quite what it was all about. The counselor came in and I think I was told to leave at that point. After some time the counselor finally managed to get her calmed down. I remember her parents were called and I think they came and got her, cuz I don't really remember doing anything with her after that. It was a shame because I liked her and got along with her. She had a "date" once with a boy at the camp and wanted a bra to wear so that if he put his hand on her back he'd "feel something". I made her one out of fabric and lace from the arts & crafts cabin. (just goes to show I've been crafty for quite a while )

I have met a few people like that; some I've known in person, and others just over the phone because they are relatives of certain people in my life. A couple of these people are on medication controlling their problems, and one of them will not admit it, and is prison now.

I've known several ppl over the yrs who are clinically insane actually...some of them are sweet as pie and others, well not so much so...How'd I deal with it? Same as I would anything else really, I mean its not a huge task or complicated to be around someone who is severely mentally disturbed, you just have to be mindful thats all..

yes i have...my neighbor is probably the craziest person i know, besides an old friend of mine. They both aren't right in the head or something. One thrives on drama and then turns psychotic when things don't go her way. the other is just plain crazy and chases her ex husband, boyfriends, etc....around the house with butcher knives. i don't understand people like that. I can't stand drama. first sign of drama and i'm gone. probably why i don't have a lot of friends. i can't stand them coming to me with all their drama and problems. my husband is my very best friend and i'm good with that being the only person i have in my life. saves me a lot of stress and anxiety. LOL! God bless

My dear spiderlizard, I have seen many and am seeing more every day.But a difference to be noted is the disguise. We are seeing people in different disguises and roles that are acceptable to society and some are not. We generally talk about those who are not acceptable. They are generally advised to visit doctors.
