Any good ideas on how to sleep well ?

i've been lack of sleep for days... i've tried to excercise and get myself really tire... but still couldn't sleep.... the only thing i have not try yet is sleeping pills hhehe... i heard they have side effects so i don't want to try it ... any one has any good ideas ?

For the last 25 years or so, I have slept on average around 5 hours a night and whilst at first, I was alarmed about it, I just accepted that I was moving through changes where I didn't need as much sleep. Once I accepted that, I stopped feeling so tired and this was because the stress of worrying about stopped making me believe that I needed more sleep. As a therapist, a large part of my work involved helping people who have problems sleeping and the first thing I do, is to get them to quit worrying about it, because it will make it worse. :-)
