These days many people think that marriage is a folly, with the time this institution will go away. People marry, studies tell us, because they honour and fulfil various ideas about long term commitment. But science shows that the vast majority of people are unable to fulfil almost any of the commitment that compelled them to marry. Well people like me would never believe in this. What are your opinions about it.

I totally believe in the institution of marriage. I have been married for 27 years. I believe we have made it to easy to get a divorce. People take the easy way out now instead of working on their marriage!!

I don't think marriage is a folly. Just because it is difficult for married couples for fullfill their commitments that we need instition to ensure them. I admit it is hard for married people to keep their commitments. It will cost them some freedom. But I think it is just the purpose of marriage--to prevent parents from doing as they like, so as to benifit their offsprings. It is limiting personal freedom for the good of the whole human. If we eradicate the instition, I can see any future in the human species. Think of the problems we have that caused by denying the instition. So pity the children who have splited parents. Pity them.

Hello, comfort! No .... no..no,the institution of marriage can't be eradicated.men and women marry, for what?for meeting the biological needs and give birth to one or two babies as it is needed by the creator of this world.marriage is social institution which gives recognition and social sanction for fulfilling the purpose of nature.it is accepted by all religions around the world and we have no right to deviate the process.thank you.
