Lily leaving the show

I can't believe after all these years Lily is leaving the show. I grew up watching her. It seems like all the older characters that have been on the show are disappearing. I was wondering if they are going to replace her, or write her off the show?

Say it aint so!I can't believe it. I remember when she came to As The World Turns. The Holden-Lily love story was great to watch. I am sorry to see her go.

I am sorry to see her go also. She took a cut in pay last year because the show was struggling, and this year when her contract came up, all she asked for was to be on as much as she was last year...no money, just the same amount of air time and they said no. I can't believe that. They just get rid of all the good actors. I still miss Dr. John!

She has already filmed her last day which is to be shown in two weeks...still can't believe it!!

John is gone too? Wow. As you can tell I haven't seen the show in a long ,long time. If I had to guess, I stoped watching in the mid 90's. They started a storyline I didn't like and I stopped watching and I haven't been back. And of course I can't remember which storyline it was now.But I do remember my favorite storyline with Lily. It was the Dustin-Lily-Holden triangle.

i haven't heard this yet. its sad to say but i hope they wright her off and not replace her. it bugs me so much to see someone that has been on there well my whole life be replaced by someone that just can't do it. i couldn't imagin any other lily. i mean i know they have to change once in awhile but lilys been there forever. thanks for the heads up know i'll know when she is no longer there.

oh gee, then shes gonna go to a different soap and it gonna be all weird and not fit her. they have done that with so many of them. right now they have mike back and its just not the same he don't fit the part.

They have already recasted another Lily and she will appear on the show the middle of May. It makes me mad!

They replaced Martha Bryne with Noelle Beck. I was a huge fan of Martha's and I don't really see Noelle as the real Lily. She is a good actress but she doesn't do it for me. I wish that Martha would come back.

I did like martha but i am getting used to seeing noelle. it take time for someone to replace a person who has been on for many years. I think i will get used to seeing noelle as lily and like her in the role.

Sorry this is so far away since you started this discussion. I can't stand the new Lily! I also grew up watching her and Holden fall in love and go threw all they have gone threw. I miss the real Lily!

its all MONEY MONEY MONEY and i blame the sponsor cause she took a pay cut last year and this year they screwed her. so much for the sponsors caring about the viewers and not just there bottom line
