Hello people. Some of you guys know about the problem I am going through with my son not following rules, being disrespecful, etc. The other day I lost my patience with him because he said something to me that he shouldn't have. I nearly fractured his knee and I have a couple of marks on my left hand (I know, I know.......bad mommy). Okay, here is the new situation: The other day, he was talking to a young lady in the building where we live. I peeped out to see who she was and she introduced herself and seemed to be pleasant; mind you now, she is a STRANGER! He came in the house and asked if she could spend the night because she had nowhere to go but I said no because she is a minor and I didn't know her. He asked one more time and again I said no. Well, early the next morning, I did my usual routine of using the bathroom. Usually, my boys forgets to turn the t.v. off in the livingroom and I usually leave my light on under my range hood (above stove) but that was off, along with the t.v. I decided to look in the livingroom on the couch because that was strange. I saw my son, then I looked in his room and the girl was in his bed. I I didn't go off because my 13-year old didnt' want me too, I believed I scared him the last time I did that so I said o.k. and went to work. When I got home, Igot into my son's behind and threatened him of what I would do if he brought her back in my house again and said to him that he has total disregard for what I say because he chooses to do what he wants. What would you have done if you were in this situation?

Wow, that' sounds like a bad situation...your son actually allowed a strange girl to sleep in his bed in your house after you told him no...that's pretty major. Just because she seemed nice doesn't mean she really is...who knows what kind of stories she could tell about your son and your family to get you all in trouble. If my son ever did that well it's tough, his intentions may have been good and it's not a bad thing to have a kind heart but he'd definitely get a erious talking to about safety and the house rules. It doesn't seem like that's enough but I can't think of a punishment that would really fit that particular 'crime'.

Well I did come to learn that she actually ran away from home before and that she was pregnant. I am not sure if she kept the baby or not. See, that is what I am talking about. She's not so nice after all.
