Yes, it is true. Some people have sunk too low. You must do something about this situation. Don't just do nothing concerning the decline of political discourse in the USA. You can do something to make the world a better place. You can do it here at myLot. Comment on this outrageous story being circulated on the internet. Such trash must be chased off the internet.
Story follows:
The Pope took a couple of days off to visit the Rugged Mountains of Alaska for some sightseeing. He was cruising along the campground in the Pope Mobile when there was a frantic commotion just at the edge of the woods.
A helpless Democrat, wearing sandals, shorts, a "Save the Whales" hat, and a "To Hell with Bush" T-shirt, was screaming while struggling frantically and thrashing around trying to free himself from the grasp of a 10-foot grizzly.
As the Pope watched in horror, as group of Republican loggers came racing up. One quickly fired a 44 magnum into the bear's chest. The other two reached up and pulled the bleeding, semiconscious Democrat from the bear's grasp. Then using long clubs, the three loggers finished off the bear and two of them threw it onto the bed of their truck while the other tenderly placed the injured Democrat in the back seat.
As they prepared to leave, the Pope summoned them to come over. "I giv e you my blessing for your brave actions!" he told them. "I heard there was a bitter hatred between Republican loggers and Democratic Environmental activists but now I've seen with my own eyes that this is not true."
As the Pope drove off, one of the loggers asked his buddies "Who was that guy?" "It was the Pope," another replied. "He's in direct contact with Heaven and has access to all wisdom."
"Well," the logger said, "he may have access to all wisdom but he sure doesn't know anything about Grizzly bear hunting! By the way, how is the bait holding up, or do we need to go back to Massachusetts and get another one?"
What are your comments concerning this shameful story?

I knew the democrats served a useful purpose but I could never figure out just what it was... now I know.
If this is what they are used for in the North, then in the Southern States they would make good gator bait.
It works for me!

Gator bait? I'll remember that. This could be told using a Babtist preacher in place of the Pope, a Gator to replace the grizzly, and a couple of good ol'boys instead of loggers. Or would it still be a spiteful, not allowed, too colorful story?

I never was one to let the tyranny of Political Correctness influence me.
I think the ones who are offended may have something to hide... some deep dark secret perhaps...

It is disgusting redyellowblackdog. I usually do not even read stories or jokes like this, I did just for the sake of your discussion. To be quite honest with you it turns my stomach. And to tell you the truth it even makes me ashamed to be an American (please do not read anything more into that statement than what I am saying) because I know so many people actually hold this kind of attitude. I have friends that do. It shocks me when I am in a gathering and one of my friends will tell something like this, I lose respect and it breaks my heart.

Thank you very much for forcing yourself to view this vile slander and to comment on it. Your participation helps to make this a better place. When the people who spread this stuff around learn what people really think of it, maybe they'll stop.

Ouch..... this BR hurts, I would have expected more folks to be indignant at the facts you laid at the table. When are we going to wake? What has to happen before any one gets moved? Redyellowblackdog I guess a thank you is in order, keep it up my friend, at some point someone will hear.
