Ok, I already know that I had to get a new tv so I can get the HD channels in my area. I DO NOT have cable or satalite.
My question is, does anyone else have problems with thier tv freezing up when you have semis drive by?
It drives me nuts that I either freeze or loose the signal for the channel I am watching. I even switched to an inside wall of the house and it does a bit better, but I am really starting to HATE my HD TV!
Thanks in advance.

That definetly sounds like a signal issue as I'm sure you are aware. It appears that when the big trucks go by, they interfere with the digital signal that you are getting and hence the screen freeze and pixelation and the like.
My best advice would be to go out and buy a decent HD digital antenna and hook it up to your television. That should make a world of difference.
Hope that helps.

You may have to look into getting a better antenna. If I remember correctly (my cousin has an HD TV without cable or satellite) there are two kinds you can get. One that is an internal one, inside your house that picks up the signals, like rabbit ears but more like a box, and the ones that you mount on your roof. A roof type antenna is probably best.
You probably live kind of far away from the TV Towers putting out the signals. You can try contacting the television stations and letting them know that you are having a hard time picking up the signals. If you are, then people around you will be having the same problems as well. I don't know if it will do any good, but it couldn't hurt.

sometimes the signal on the cable goes out and returns but never the tv its self although I am going to need a new one soon, it is starting to get white lines across the top.
