How many cups of coffee do you drink?

One mug right after I wake up. One mug early evening, that's a couple of hours after dinner. And probably another one mug in the middle of the night. Before I drink more than 5 mugs a day but I lessened it down to count of three instead. I have diabetes and I can't drink a coffee without sugar in it.

How did you decrease the amount in a day without getting side effects? Or did you have side effects and just struggle through them?

One pot everyday? Four gallons? wow, I can't beat you at that
. I can only drink 4 cups of coffee a day at the maximum!
Well, I guess anything we do in excess is not good to us. I don't know what coffee can do to our body if we consume more than we should but I know there are consequences! Just a caution maybe...

Whoooo, I think we got our measurements mixed up. I would explode at the seams if I consumed four gallons of anything. By a pot I mean a 12 cup coffee maker pot. LOL

a whole pot? wow you really are addicted to coffee! i also love coffee but i just drink one cup a day. i don't do more than that coz i have adverese reaction to coffee, that is i sweat a lot or i get a head ache if i have more than enough coffee for the day. and its not brewed or strong coffee that i make, i usually need to mix it up with chocolate making my coffee something like a mocha java. yumm!

I too love coffee. I drink a 12 cup pot or two a day. I like drip and peculated coffee... as long as it is NOT decaf.
I can say I'm not as bad as my friend. He loves the first brewed cup without sugar, without creamer... black. I tried this first brewed cup... it is the STRONGEST coffee I've tried. Very bitter.
My coffee I like sweet and strong.
