Fallout Shelter

So here are my questions: How long would you have to stay underground after some kind of nuclear attack? How deep underground would you have to be to escape the radiation? How do you plan on haveing power/light in your shelters?

well, this is quite difficult to answer. i'm sure there are many people who know the answer though. I think it depends on the type of bomb that exploded and on your location ... how near the explosion you are. But it might be even years ...

I am afraid of the price of the Fallout Shelter. I somewere read that after 2 week the radiation is very decreased. So I want to have the Fallout Shelter cca. for 2 weeks (with supply of food and water) and good air filtration.

oh yeah i'd bet it's expensive. i think i'll never buy such a thing though. Only two weeks? Well, then you would be able to quickly get out. And you would have something to communicate with the surrounding world such as internet, right?

I want to have radio, lot of batteries (and car-battery too), notebook....this all can be charged with solar charger.
