Are you sure that all the World was so interested in this summit so they found out where Romania is? I strongly doubt that. I believe the rich don't have such interests and the poor are very busy trying to live decently. I an Romanian too and I haven't payed absolutely any attention to this event. All it did was stop me from going to college, which wasn't very good for me... And I don't want to be mean or aggressive, but the lyrics that say we are not a country located in South Africa, we do not get from one place to another using tree branches, we do not live in cages located underground implies that we are much to superior to some African nations. Or isn't that a bit hypocrite of us? We want the rich countries of the World to consider us a normal civilized country, but we don't treat the nations poorer than us like one...

Well, this is only a downgrading self perception of ours. I don't understand where it came from, but we tend to minimalize ourselves as Romanians. That shouldn't happen! We are usually negative and pessimistic when talking about ourselves and our nation, and that hurts our image. I won't give examples of how to behave simply because they are very numerous among the other states of the world. I just wanted to say that we should see ourselves in a better shape first! p.s. don't know if the answer suits this topic very well, but I sense it does...
