what in name?

can you think that your name, surname can anyway going to affect your life. i have come across many instances which makes me think that even in this modern era, people are if not all of them are thinking in a negative way dated back to the 60s. what do you think about this?

I am not exactly sure of what you mean by this. I feel that people may and often do in some instances, react in a negative way because of the history behind a surname or if their are any quarrels between two families. However, in this day no one actually considers it to be a quarrel between to surnames, two families, rather just a quarrel between two different belief systems.
If you mean that the maning of your name effects the person you are then, yes, this may very well be true. There are such things as numerology and I think there are even studies of your name and the person you are because of it. Just think of your first name, it has a meaning.
