The last cat I had was scared to death of the vacume cleaner, she would hide as soon as I got it out. My new cat is not really scared of it. He will sit back and watch me vacume, but if i get to close to him he will then leave the room. Is your cat scared of the vacume?

My cats ran when they hear the vacuum cleaner they will go to our room and hide under the bed. My cats are sweet with me we always play when morning because cats and people need it for the good circulation of our bloods and the bloods of animals.

My cat looks at the vacum cleaner as if it were the devil incarnate LOL!!! If looks could kill the sweeper would never work again LOL!! Hmmm maybe that is why I'm having problems with my sweeper. LOL!!

Most cats avoid a vacuum cleaner like a plague! simply because the volume of noise from the machine is so high that it upsets them and makes them scared. The pipe coming near them just adds to that fear. My one cat loved the vacuum cleaner and would purposely lie in the way so I would run the vacuum pipe across her fur. she would stretch and roll over loving every minute of it. I have a lutino ringneck bird that for some reason, when i use the vacuum cleaner decides its bathtime! and tries to climb into her water dish attached to the cage unless I give her her plastic bowl with water in it!
