Would you buy stock in the Cowboys?

Current NFL rules prohibit public ownership (stocks) in NFL teams. The Packers are a grandfathered exception to this rule. But, if you could, would you buy stock in this team -- or any NFL team?

I would buy stock in a lot of NFL teams. The Steelers are a very well run organization and I would love to buy stock in them but I would also buy stock in teams like Baltimore, New York, Dallas, and many others.

Exactly. Being responsive to stockholders would make teams run better. And just think, the Lions shareholders could vote out Matt Millen. hehehehehehehe.

I would. When they are playing well, they have one of the highest, if not the highest, sales of merchandise in the NFL. Plus the Value of the Franchise is very high. The value plus the merchandising sales would likely keep the stock fairly high.
